Kalaheo Soccer Opens Competition at Home.

After 2 seasons without a home field, the senior class was able to compete once again on their own turf. The new, Lee Cashman Athletic Field, was completed in time to host 2019-2020 high school soccer matches. On Saturday, Kalaheo and Damien varsity teams made history as the 1st to officially play on the new grass.

The Kalaheo Mustangs were limited by restrictions put on by their coaches to open the match, but adjusted well and slotted the 1st goal. The Damien Monarchs quickly returned the favor and scored one of their own. Strong individual play from the Monarchs earned the team 2 goals in the end. Kalaheoʻs passing game was too much as they held possession for majority of both halves and netted 7 goals.

We look forward to seeing more soccer action back at Kalaheo as the year goes on.
